What the extension stores

TabIdent stores container names, colors, site rules, settings, and session snapshots (cookies and related site storage used for isolation) only on your device, using Chrome extension storage and extension IndexedDB.

• No TabIdent account is required.
• We do not upload cookies, credentials, or page content to any server.
• There is no analytics SDK in the extension.

Why permissions are requested

Permissions such as cookies, storage, tabs, declarativeNetRequest, scripting, webNavigation, contextMenus, and tabGroups exist solely so TabIdent can isolate identities per container on sites you visit. They are not used to sell data or track you across the web for advertising.

Website

The marketing site is static. It does not create user accounts. We do not embed third-party analytics SDKs. Your email client opens only if you choose to contact us.

Uninstall

Removing the extension removes its local data stored by Chrome for that extension. You can also clear local data from the extension options before uninstalling.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
